Public Memory, the solo nom de plume of Brooklyn-based musician Robert Toher, headlines tonight’s live music at Deep Cuts. He was formerly a member of the band APSE, which had a distinct take on postpunk and post rock, and his subsequent project ERAAS rooted that moody propulsive rock sound into a more electronic-based realm. Also performing will be Mexico City’s Mint Field, which creates a unique blend of avant dream pop and shoegaze with some touches of trip hop, and Slow Quit, a knucklescraper-gaze band from Boston. Doors open at 7 p.m. with music at 8. Tickets are $15 through Dice.
