Exhibition Closing: George Huiyi Wang Chinese Painting

Today is the final day to view the Medford Public Library's exhibition of Chinese painting by George Huiyi Wang, a Medford resident and member of the Medford Senior Center. On display is Wang's Chinese brush paintings showcasing Eastern art and culture. Wang immigrated from China to the U.S. in 1987 and is a member of the Chinese American Fine Arts Society. The exhibition is on view in the library's second-floor gallery during regular library hours.

Teen Craft Night: DIY Hats

The Medford Public Library's Craft Night for teens in middle school and high school meets in the Maker Space. Tonight, design your own hat! Learn how to use Cricut Design Space to create your own iron-on transfer image to put onto a baseball hat. All materials will be provided. The Porch presents a night of Waylon Jennings music by Waylon & Co., a six-piece cosmic country outfit focused on the work of the pioneer of the outlaw movement in country music. The band will perform songs from the Jennings' 1976 "Waylon Live" album, as well as some rarities and classics from his '70s catalog. Free admission for the music; table reservations recommended if you plan to have dinner.
