The Medford Public Library presents another gathering of its new Sensory Storytime for ages 3 to 7. Explore stories, music, movement, and play in a sensory-friendly and adaptive setting in the new Charlotte & William Bloomberg Library building. This storytime is for everyone, but is particularly designed for neurodiverse children — children who are on the autism spectrum, have sensory processing challenges, ADHD, or have difficulty sitting through our other storytimes. The Abbott Street String Band brings some old-timey music to The Porch Southern Fare & Juke Joint. This group of local old-time players formed at an Abbott Street residence during the pandemic. They feature acoustic instruments such as banjos, fiddles and guitars, and groove on the melodies of traditional fiddle tunes, dances and reels.
