Week 6 of the Medford Farmers Market will feature live music by Mama’s Boy from 3 to 5 p.m. and Slow Boat Home from 5 to 7 p.m. Mama’s Boy is a guitar and violin duo featuring Nate Burket as singer, performing both old time tunes and originals. Slow Boat Home is a fun-loving Americana band playing original tunes mixed with a lively collection of country, blues, and jug band music. Members are Stephen “Harpo” Born on harp, Scott “Flapjaque” Southgate on bass, Christine “Honeybird” Southgate on vocals, C. “Bo-Dacious” on mandolin, Andy “Candyman” Hollinger on guitar, and “No siree” Bob Emslie on keyboards. The market takes place at the Condon Shell park from 3 to 7 p.m. every Thursday through October 12.
