Medford musicians Matt and Shannon Heaton host their monthly Virtual Guided Session on a different day (Thursday instead of Saturday), at a different time (9 a.m. not 2 p.m.) and from a different location (Japan rather than Medford!). They’ll be joined by flute player Tomoaki Hatekeyama (Hatao) and other Irish music friends in Osaka. All are welcome to tune in to the live session via YouTube for moderately paced Irish tunes and upbeat chat. Cost is free, but virtual tip jars are available via PayPal or through Venmo at ShannonHeatonMusic. The VGS schedule for the next two months also will be slightly different, taking place at 2 p.m. on the second Saturday — May 10 and June 14 — rather than the usual third Saturday.
