The Fireside Ensemble, led by founder and violinist Jess Lin of Medford, returns to the First Baptist Church of Medford for a Classical Night at the Movies concert. Enjoy a fun chamber music concert featuring famous movie tunes from “Star Wars,” “Mulan,” “Jurassic Park,” “The Lion King” and more, plus a theatrical classical work by Antonin Dvořák with tunes that rival the modern cinema. The event is friendly to all ages, low-key and casual. Free admission; suggested donation of $10, with all contributions going to the Allston-Brighton Food Pantry.

Fireside Ensemble is a Boston-area chamber music collective that meets you where you are: in homes, halls, and cafes. In addition to Lin, a former Boston Philharmonic member, members are violist Arjun Mudan, also a Medford resident; pianist Sarah Rumbley, a former soloist with the Boston Pops; and cellist Madeleine Tucker, recent principal cellist with the Marin Symphony in California.
