Ebisuya Japanese Market is offering two Japanese Calligraphy Workshops led by Nagoya-based calligrapher Hiroko Watanabe, a professional Shodo artist. Participants will watch a live demonstration and receive personalized guidance in creating a golden Kanji art collage. No experience necessary. All materials provided, including handmade Japanese paper, a high-quality calligraphy brush that is yours to keep, and a frame with washi matting to display your creation. The sessions will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. and from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Cost is $90. Register for either session through the event web page.
