Ladies of Essence, Tufts University's only all-female a cappella group specializing in music of the African diaspora, presents its spring concert: celebrating what it means to be a phenomenal woman. As a Lady of Essence, this means something different to each member, but when the group comes together to sing, being a phenomenal woman is about celebrating the things, big or small, that makes each member unique.  

The Jackson Jills, Tufts University's oldest all-female a cappella group, celebrates their 55th year in existence with their annual spring show. The Dear Abbeys, a male a cappella group from Boston University, also will perform. Free tickets are available at tuftstickets.com. Co-sponsored by the Tufts University Chaplaincy.  

The Tufts University a cappella group S-Factor presents its final show of the 2017-18 school year, "Can't Hide Love," which will feature performances by The Ladies of Essence and Mufaro. S-Factor is Tufts' only all-male a cappella group that specializes in music of the African Diaspora. Free admission, but donations will be collected to support Hurricane Relief at Tufts' efforts to provide for victims of Hurricanes Irma and Maria in the Caribbean. Doors open at 8 p.m.
