Tufts Jazz Orchestra: Speak Low!
The Tufts University Jazz Orchestra presents its spring concert, "Speak Low!, an exciting, rhythm-filled and harmonically rich selection of music by Ella Fitzgerald; Stevie Wonder; Earth, Wind & Fire; the Beatles, and Cole Porter. The Tufts University Chaplaincy invites you to attend its Spring Carillon Concert at Goddard Chapel. A carillon is a set of tuned bells arranged so that music can be played on them. There are 25 of them in the Goddard Chapel tower, the oldest one dating to 1908. The bells (F, G, then A to g’ chromatically) will be played by students from an electronic keyboard console next to the chapel's 1883 Hook & Hastings organ. Can't attend the concert?…
