To promote the cultural exchange between U.S. and Japan, Fletcher Japan Club and the Fletcher Performing Arts Club are co-organizing the music concert “Harmony.” There will be a Japanese drums (wadaiko) performance by The Genki Spark, a Japanese flute (shakuhachi) performance by Mona Yamazaki Sangesland, a Japanese traditional guitar (shamisen) performance by Sumie Kaneko, and a piano performance by Toshiki Usui.

The Fletcher Performing Arts Club is the gateway for Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy students, faculty, and alumni to share their talents in music, dance, and theater with the greater Fletcher community. Most noted for its winter and spring recitals, Fletcher PAC serves as a channel for students and staff to form ensembles, become connected to Boston’s performing arts scene, and to forge connections with other student groups at Fletcher.

The Fletcher Japan Club seeks to engage students in three ways — policy, culture, and networking — and hosts events on politics and policy relevant to Japan, U.S.-Japan relations, and East Asia.
