The Medford Family Network and Gaia Connections present the virtual workshop “Think Outside the Book: Talking Race, Gender, Disabilities with Young Minds.” Facilitated by MFN Parent Leader Divya Anand, Ph.D, the workshop will use children’s books to have critical conversations with young minds. Learn how to teach children to read with purpose, ask questions, and be conscious of differences in developmentally appropriate ways. Each participant will receive a free book along with its learning guide. Registration is required through the online Google form to receive the Zoom link. The program will be offered again at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17.
