Tufts Hillel is hosting its annual literacy carnival, Read by the River, at the Joyce Cummings Center. All Medford students in kindergarten through grade 5 and their families or caregivers are invited to attend this campus-wide initiative that celebrates the love of books and reading. The day will feature reading-themed activities led by Tufts student organizations and Medford middle school students, story time with a surprise guest, and more. Guardians are required to stay with their children for the duration of the event. This year there also will be a special 6th-8th grade section with advanced activities and snacks. Paid parking will be available in either the lot across the street or the Dowling Hall garage on Boston Avenue.
