After a hiatus, Friends of the Medford Family Network is pleased to bring back one in person of its favorite events: the Valentine Family Fest fundraiser. Activities will include two magic shows by Bonaparté. The first, at 3:30 p.m., will be geared for families with kids with special sensory needs and run 30 minutes. Join Toddler Time at the Medford Public Library and read some excellent books, sing songs, and learn gentle movement activities. Story time is 30 minutes long and geared toward children ages 2-3. After stories and songs, all are invited to join a mini-play group too. Because of the age of most of the participants, the library asks that everyone wear masks during this program. Questions? The Medford Public Library presents Saturday afternoon Sensory Storytime for ages 3 to 7. Explore stories, music, movement, and play in a sensory-friendly and adaptive setting in the Charlotte & William Bloomberg Library building. This storytime is for everyone, but is particularly designed for neurodiverse children — children who are on the autism spectrum, have sensory processing challenges, ADHD, or have difficulty sitting through our other storytimes.
