Medford author and poet Shirley Gerald Ware is hosting a class on the art of writing poetry and short stories at 10 a.m. each Wednesday in July and August at the Medford Senior Center. Shirley is the author of nine books; her 10th book, “The Three of US,” is pending this year. She also is the publisher of “Fresh! Literary Magazine,” which publishes teen and adult writers locally and worldwide. You must call the Senior Center at 781-396-6010 to reserve a seat. Space is limited.
