Medford Brewing Company begins a new Wednesday Artist Series, welcoming Medford poet laureate Terry E. Carter and pianist Jonathan Fagan in a short program of poetry and jazz in celebration of Black History Month. Carter will read from his works, which he has been developing for decades. He is a classically trained poet, and author of numerous collections whose influences range from Shakespeare to the Harlem Renaissance. Fagan is a co-founder of the Medford Jazz Festival, in which he has collaborated with Carter.
