Arts Collaborative Medford presents its monthly Original Poetry and Song Open Mic Night, hosted by Medford Poet Laureate Vijaya Sundaram, with guest poet Max Heinegg. Max is the author of “Good Harbor” (2022), which won the inaugural Paul Nemser Prize, “Going There” (2023), and the chapbook “Keepers of the House” (2025), all on Lily Poetry Review Press. He has been publishing poetry since 1988 and making records, from rock to adaptations of poetry from the public domain since 1992. He has taught English in the public schools of Medford for 27 years.

All poets, dreamers, and songwriters are invited to bring an original poem, story, or song to read or sing. ACM will provide a microphone and podium. Suggested donation is $5 to 10. RSVP through the ACM website.
