Medford Public Schools is offering a free two-week camp at Medford High School where students can get a jumpstart on their band and orchestra instruments. This camp helps students jumpstart their success in the MPS instrumental programs, and gives them a jumpstart on the upcoming school year. The camp is open to students entering grades 4 to 8 and will take place from 9 a.m. to noon daily during the weeks of August 14-18 and August 21-25. Students will present an end of camp showcase at 11 a.m. on August 25 that is free and open to all family and friends. Students will also receive a free Jumpstart Music Camp T-shirt. Although students are strongly encouraged to attend both weeks of camp in order to gain the most out of the camp experience, students may also attend just one week.
