The Medford Jazz Festival presents the second of two afternoons of performances at the West Medford Community Center (on the back patio, weather permitting). Today’s lineup features Berklee College of Music jazz professor, pianist and arranger Nando Michelin and Brazilian bassist Ebinho Cardoso in their duo ensemble Nando Michelin from 1 to 1:45 p.m.; and Grammy nominated Debo Ray and her All-Star Band from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Admission is free, though donations to support the festival are gratefully accepted.

Pianist Jonathan Fagan launched the Medford Jazz Festival in October 2020 with a five-day event showcasing the cultural diversity, creativity, and talent of local musicians through several virtual concerts. In-person jam sessions were initiated in December 2021, and the first in-person Jazz Festival followed in October 2022.
