The Medford Public Library is hoping to get you the training you need to “check out” the library’s Maker Space just like the study rooms in the building. With today’s session on sewing, you can earn a “badge” and gain more exclusive access to the Maker Space and its contents. Once courses are complete, your library card will note you have more access to the Maker Space so you can “borrow” the room when it is available. Register through the library’s online calendar. Next up in the series will be a session on using the Cricut cutting machine at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 23. The session on sewing will be offered again on Wednesday, June 28, at 10 a.m. and on Thursday, August 3, at 7 p.m.
