JahRiffe brings his World Roots Reggae music to the Medford Brewing Company Taproom. A first-generation Jamaican American, JahRiffe is the lead singer of the Jah-N-I Roots band. His eclectic background and lifestyle are what make up the type of music he creates which he coined World Roots Reggae. He grew up in New York listening to the greats like Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Black Uhuru and Jimmy Cliff. After moving to Boston in his late teens, he was introduced to Rastafari and Spiritual Mysticism and started to write songs to try to create positive change in the world.
