From its deep roots in Africa to the dance halls in Harlem, Swing is one of the Jazziest social dance forms. In this workshop, Eileen Herman-Haase and Raul Nieves of Dance Caliente will introduce you, step by step, using our unique “Oonka Ah” technique to help you gain skills as both a leader and follower. Absolute beginners as well as dancers unfamiliar with this dance form will feel instantaneous comfort on the dance floor. No partner necessary, just your desire to learn!
