This year the Medford Public Library’s Classic Book Group will be led by members of the library staff and focus on 20th century Southern writers. The schedule of meetings kicks off with To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.

Future meeting dates (all Wednesdays at 7 p.m.) and titles are:

November 14: All the King’s Men by Robert Penn Warren

December 19: TBA

January 16: Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston

February 20: The Member of the Wedding by Carson McCullers

March 20: Wise Blood by Flannery O’Connor

April 17: TBA

May 15: A Summons to Memphis by Peter Taylor
