Wednesday, November 2, 2022 @ 7:00 pm

Free

The Medford Public Library presents Medford author Anne Hamlin in a talk about her book about her mother, “Beverly Almond: An Ageless Adventurer,” and Almond’s adventures during World War II. Beverly Almond, a young secretary in New York City at the time of Pearl Harbor, left security and home to work in England at the height of the war. She worked for 2.5 years at Bletchley Park, the top-secret center in the English countryside where German military messages were being intercepted and decoded. Co-sponsored by the Medford Historical Society & Museum.
