Class begins with a brief, kid-friendly introduction to joomchi — the Korean mulberry-paper layering technique. Students will cut, tear, and layer mulberry papers, then use water and blending methods to seamlessly fuse pieces into one textured sheet. Students will create two pieces; one abstract and one representational!
