The City of Medford begins its Haitian Heritage Month events with the program Sickle Cell Awareness: Understanding, Managing, and Thriving at the library. The interactive presentation led by DiamondTale Consulting will provide high-level educational information about sickle cell disease, causes, symptoms, treatments, and lifestyle tips.
