The West Medford Community Center’s Origami Club meets at the picnic tables at Dugger Park. Led by the dynamic mother and son duo of Chau and Ben Ransley, the club welcomes all levels of folders, from beginners to advanced and everything in between. It offers a range of origami creations to fold, and what participants make during the hour is based on their interest. Instructor Ben has been folding origami for over six years, beginning with a simple origami book his mom gave him. Over the years he has moved onto more advanced origami books and created his own designs, which have been recognized at origami contests. He enjoys sharing his skill and enthusiasm for origami with others.
