The Early Music Ensemble at Tufts University presents a concert of music of pleasure and celebration from 17th-century Spain and Naples. Villancicos, tientos, madrigals and variations by Cabezón, Guerrero, Macque, Trabaci and others, for violas da gamba, voices, Renaissance harps, violin, lute, harpsichord and recorders. With guest Job Salazar Fonseca, Baroque violin and viola da gamba. Jane Hershey directs.
