The legendary soul-funk-R&B outfit Tower of Power comes to Medford for its first Chevalier Theatre appearance. Bandleader and tenor saxophonist Emilio Castillo is joined by fellow founding member Stephen (“Doc”) Kupka on baritone sax; David Garibaldi on drums; Roger Smith on keys; Tom E. Politzer on tenor sax; Adolfo Acosta on trumpet and flugelhorn; Jerry Cortez on vocals; and Marc van Wageningen on bass guitar.

Tickets are $40 to $75 through the Chevalier Theatre website/Tickemtaster. Tickets also may be purchased, free of online ordering fees, at the Chevalier Theatre Box Office, which is open on Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m., as well as two hours before every Chevalier Theatre show.
