The Porch Southern Fare & Juke Joint at River’s Edge celebrates its reopening with Staxville: A celebration of Stax Records. Some of Boston’s most talented musicians will pay tribute to Stax Records, the Motown of Memphis. Fronted by Nephrok! , this Boston supergroup will takes you down to Memphis as they perform the hits and the deep cuts from the legendary Stax Records catalog. Johnny Trama (The Silks, Dub Apocalypse, Band of Killers, B3 Kings), Darby Wolf (Rubblebucket, Band of Killers, Bomb Squad), and Tom Arey (J. Geils Band, G Love, Vapors of Morphine) join Neph for a funky serenade of soul.
