Stained Glass Plant Propagation Hanger Class
In this class you will learn to copper foil and solder your own stained glass plant propagation hanger! With pre-cut glass pieces, you will use copper foil, flux, solder, and wire to create your one-of-a-kind piece. All supplies will be provided, including a tiny, propagated plant to put in your planter! Colors vary, and will be chosen on a first come, first serve basis. Your piece will be finished and ready to take home by the end of class.
Supply Breakdown-
Pre-cut glass pieces, Copper foil, leaded solder, flux, wire, polishing cloths, stained glass polish, chain, glass tubes, and plants
Tools Provided- Copper foil burnishing fids, soldering irons, fume extractors, needle nose pliers, rubber gloves, safety glasses
Artist Bio-
Stephanie Racine is a glass artist that creates unique pieces that are heavily inspired by nature. Stephanie creates most of her work using the copper foil method, but also works with lead and zinc came for larger or more structural projects. She works most often on art pieces that can be placed anywhere within a space that allows the glass and light to interplay.
