FreeLooking Back at Medford History Inc., in cooperation with the City of Medford, invites you to the fourth annual Sarah Bradlee Fulton Day in tribute to the American Revolutionary War heroine from Medford. The event will feature a special appearance by President Washington on horseback; Colonial Navy of Massachusetts fifes and drums; fiddlers; the performance of an original play, “Ghostly Appearances,” about Revolutionary heroes; a historic walk led by Dee Morris (starting at 10 a.m. at the Salem Street Burying Ground); “Ye Olde Arcade” (Colonial/Revolutionary activities); and free hot chocolate. Rain location is Medford City Hall.
Also, in conjunction with this event, a dress worn by Sarah Bradlee Fulton will be on display through October at the Charlotte & William Bloomberg Medford Public Library. A public reception regarding the dress exhibit will be held at the library from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, October 18.
