Free

Medford presents its third annual Sarah Bradlee Fulton Day in tribute to the heroine of the American Revolution from Medford, sometimes referred to as “The Mother of the Boston Tea Party.” This year’s event will feature a special appearance by George Washington on horseback. There also will be a historical walk with Medford historian Dee Morris from 10 to 11 a.m. (register with an email to kittyhawk12348@earthlink.net), fifes and drums, Colonial dress-up for children, a scavenger hunt, and a new play, “Ghostly Appearances,” performed at the Salem Street Burying Ground. Prepare to be haunted by Sarah Bradlee Fulton, Captain Isaac Hall, Major-General John Stark, the Marquis de Lafayette and Governor John Brooks.

Sponsored by Looking Back at Medford History Inc. in cooperation with the City of Medford. In case of rain, the event will take place inside Medford City Hall.
