The Medford Recreation Department’s Riverside Avenue Plaza concert series welcomes soul singer Leon Beal Jr. A Florida native, Beal was born into gospel music and raised in the blues and soul music traditions that have captivated so many people around the world.  His R&B band Joy-Ful appeared on shows with The Temptations, Blue Magic, Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes, The Whispers, The Stylistics and many others. Enjoy live music while eating take-out from one of the many great restaurants in Medford Square. Medford Brewing Company will also have a beer garden on site.
