The Medford Family Network invites you to celebrate Read Across America Day in a special event featuring Medford author Wendy Pfaffenbach. Wendy will read from her book “The Fells Fairies,” in which The Fells nature preserve is in danger of being taken over for construction of a shopping mall. The Fairy Queen calls upon two little girls, Star and Bird, to save the forest. Can they come up with a plan to stop the destruction? Fairy fun art activities will follow the reading.
