The City of Medford invites you to Medford Square for the annual Patriots’ Day celebration. Events begin at 10 a.m. at the Salem Street Burying Ground next to Riverside Plaza as tribute is paid to the soldiers who lost their lives during the Revolutionary War. Free activities will follow in the square. Around noon, Paul Revere arrives on horseback, re-enacting his famous ride through Medford on the way to Lexington. He’ll make a stop at Captain Isaac Hall’s former home at 43 High Street (now the Islamic Cultural Center of Medford); it was there that Revere notified the local militia of British troop movement. He’ll also visit the Paul Revere Restaurant at 447 High Street in West Medford.
