The Medford Recreation Department begins its summer outdoor movie series with a showing of “Top Gun: Maverick” at the Condon Shell. The movie will begin at 8:30 p.m., but come an hour earlier as the Rec Department will have music and lawn games set up in the field, along with free popcorn. Please bring a blanket, drinks, and bug spray. No alcohol permitted. Other films in the series will be “Lightyear” on Friday, July 21, at Tufts Park, and “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water” on Friday, August 18, at Wright’s Pond.
