On July 16, an ordinance will go into effect in Medford prohibiting stores from distributing thin plastic bags to customers. An environmentally friendly option for shoppers is to carry one’s own reusable tote bag, so Mystic Makerspace is offering a workshop where you can create your own personalized bag. There will be several different types of totes you can create, some that require sewing and some that don’t. Stop by and make yourself a reusable tote bag!
