Juventas New Music Ensemble and First Baptist Church of Medford present “To The Seasons,” a free concert featuring soprano Kelley Hollis, hornist Anne Howarth, and pianist Julia Scott Carey featuring music by nine living composers: Oliver Caplan, Michael Donovan, Gina Gillie, Nyokabi Kariũki, Mary Montgomery Koppel, Mari Kotskyy, Andrew Porter, Eric Whitacre, Emma Wine. Led by Caplan, a Medford resident, Juventas is a cutting-edge chamber group that spotlights emerging voices and re-envisions classical music as a vibrant, living art form. They bring audiences music from a diverse array of composers that live in today’s world and respond to our time. Supported in part by a grant from the Medford Arts Council.
