Legendary pop singer Johnny Mathis returns to Chevalier Theatre  with a stop on his tour The Voice of Romance. Few artists performing today can claim to have mastered adult contemporary and soulful pop music the way Mathis has over the years with both his live performances and his recorded albums. Mathis was already performing before modern rock came on the scene in the ’60s and ’70s. He has recorded 73 full-length albums to date, and of those, 18 went Gold and six achieved Platinum status. His concerts continue to draw a wide range of excited fans and long-term devotees to hear him sing hits such as “Chances Are,” “Misty,” “Gina,” and “It’s Not For Me to Say.” Tickets are $39 to $150 through the Chevalier Theatre website/Ticketmaster. Tickets also may be purchased, free of online ordering fees, at the Chevalier Theatre Box Office, which is open on Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m., as well as two hours before every Chevalier Theatre show.
