The West Medford Community Center is offering “Picture-It,” an introduction to digital storytelling class for children in grades 2 to 5. Using components of National Geographic Explorer Mindset and a point-and-shoot digital camera (provided), kids will play indoor/outdoor games and activities, explore their environment, learn basic digital photography concepts, and tell a story through pictures. The class will meet for six Tuesday evening sessions from from March 15 through April 26, with no class on April 19 due to school vacation week. (Note: This is a revised class calendar from originally announced.) The class is being presented in partnership with Kids LAHF (Laugh and Have Fun).
