The Medford Public Library introduces its new Historical Fiction Brook Group, which will meet on the third Wednesday of the month at 10 a.m. Being discussed today will be “The Rose Code” by Kate Quinn. Register through the library’s online calendar; you need only register for one session to be added to the group.

Upcoming titles are “The Personal Librarian” by Marie Benedict (November 15) and “Hamnet” by Maggie O’Farrell (December 20).
