Friends of the Medford Public Library kicks off its three-day Fall Book and Bake Sale with a preview sale open only to Friends of the Library members only (join online in advance or at the door). The sale features more than 10,000 items, including good-quality used books at low prices; CDs and DVDs; board games and jigsaw puzzles; and a selection of gift-quality books.

The sale will be open to the public on Saturday, September 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (with a bake sale), and on Sunday, September 22, from 2 to 5 p.m. Proceeds benefit Friends of the Library, which funds the library’s Museum Pass Program, underwrites numerous programs for children and adults, pays for special items outside the library’s regular budget, and occasionally purchases items for the library’s collection.
