The First Friday Funk Allstars perform at The Porch Southern Fare & Juke Joint at River’s Edge. The band started as a rotating residency, but has emerged as an full-fledged instrumental funk combo combining the styles of old school Meters and Booker T grooves. The band features some of the best funk/soul/jazz/blues musicians in the area. The regular lineup consists of Jeff Buckridge, Ed Spargo, Jeremy Parker and Erick Cifuentes, with lots of special guests.
