
Dance Caliente Line Dances Workshop

FreeThe Medford Public Library invites you to join Eileen Herman-Haase and Raul Nieves of Dance Caliente as they dance you through the steps to the line dances the Brooklyn Shuffle (Hustle) and the Rumba. The Brooklyn Shuffle was one of the line dances showcased in the blockbuster 1977 film “Saturday Night Fever.” It was choreographed to fit the hit tune “Night Fever” by The Bee Gees. The Rumba is a ballroom dance of Afro-Cuban folk-dance origin. Register through the library’s online calendar.
Dance Caliente will return to the library for classes on the Hustle/Disco (April 16) and the Rumba (May 28), both dates Wednesdays. All are supported in part by a Medford Arts Council grant.
