The City of Medford begins its free Condon Shell Summer Concert series with the vintage rock band Say Darling. Founded by old friends Celia Woodsmith and Chris Hersch, Say Darling evokes the funky drive of Little Feat, the moving vocals of Bonnie Raitt, and the instrumental prowess of the Tedeschi-Trucks Band. Bring a chair or blanket and a picnic, or stop by the Medford Farmers Market to grab some food. Other concerts in the Thursday evening series will feature the Baker Thomas Band on July 18, the Grammy-nominated Debo Ray on August 1, and the Cheryl Arena Band on August 29.
