The Medford Public Library is hosting Media Day for the Boston Glory Ultimate Frisbee team, which plays its home games at Hormel Stadium in Medford. The day will include readings of Frisbee-themed books “Flip” by children’s author Margaret Muirhead and “Spirit Foul” by young adult author Zack Smith; a team meet-and-greet with a Q&A panel, autographs and photo ops; Ultimate Frisbee™ 101: How and where to play in the Boston area with indoor-friendly throwing demos; Glory footage on the big screen; a gallery of Hormel Stadium action shots by local photographer Kathy Joyce; a social hour with light refreshments; a fan photo booth; and maybe Glory karaoke.
