The Ruta Beggars will provide free live music for the first Bluegrass Brunch presented by The Porch Southern Fare & Juke Joint at River’s Edge. The Ruta Beggars formed at Berklee College of Music in the American Roots Program. Passionate about the music they play, their high-energy licks infuse traditional bluegrass and early swing to create a timeless act filled with intricate yet smooth vocal harmonies, fiery instrumentals and plenty of fun. Band members are Micah Nicol (guitar), Sofia Chiarandini (fiddle), Ariel Wyner (mandolin) and Trevin Nelson (banjo).
