Washvault Lab, a reimagined laundromat on Boston Avenue, presents an evening of traditional folk music by  Louise Bichan and Alex Cumming, with special guest Eric McDonald. Bichan (fiddle, banjo, vocals) grew up in Orkney, a group of islands in the north of Scotland, where she started playing the fiddle at age 8. Cumming (accordian, piano, vocals) is hails from Somerset, England, and now lives in Medford. McDonald (guitar, vocals) grew up in Medford and is a professional performer and instructor of traditional and acoustic music.

Washvault Lab is re-envisioning the laundry experience along social and environmental touchpoints, offering a new approach to laundry services that prioritizes the user experience. Washvault aims to positively impact the local community, the environment, and its customers through meaningful outreach opportunities and sustainability efforts.
