Chevalier Theatre welcomes back Jamaican reggae singer Beres Hammond for a stop on his Forever Giving Thanks Tour. Over a five-decade career, Hammond has poured his smoky-sweet voice — an instrument of subtlety and power reminiscent of an Otis Redding or a Teddy Pendergrass — over every kind of riddim track. The opener will feature musical selections by Selecta CJ. Tickets are $47 to $67 through the Chevalier Theatre website/Ticketmaster. Tickets also may be purchased, free of online ordering fees, at the Chevalier Theatre Box Office, which is open on Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m., as well as two hours before every Chevalier Theatre show.
