The Medford Public Library is co-sponsoring an online talk by Erica Cirino, a photojournalist, scientist, writer and artist, about her book “Thicker Than Water: The Quest for Solutions to the Plastic Crisis.” As plastic pollution piles up, time to negotiate real solutions is running out; meanwhile, plastics’ impacts on Earth and our health grows worse. Cirino hopes to share important facts and immediate action we can take to help our communities and protect our health from plastics.
