Arlington Jazz Fest at ACM

$10 – $20Arts Collaborative Medford on Mystic Avenue is excited to be hosting one of the outstanding events in the 14th annual Arlington Jazz Festival, headlined by Meridian 71, a cross-cultural music project created and led by drummer Giuseppe Paradiso. The band also features Mark Zaleski (alto and soprano sax, clarinet and flute), Phil Sargent (guitar), Maxim Lubarsky (piano and keys), Galen Willett (electric fretless bass) and Malick Ngom (sabar drums). Tonight’s opening act will be the eight-piece group The Boston Universal Music Society, which will perform the music of the great Brazilian composer/musician Hermeto Pasqual. General admission tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for seniors and students, through the ACM website. Arlington Jazz Festival is presenting a dozen events between March 30 and April 6.
